The Knockturnal, a firebrand of a journalistic collective, began in June of 2015 with their very first story on Rihanna’s Met Gala after party. Founded with the desire to create a media brand that pushes journalistic boundaries while breaking a rule or two, The Knockturnal has grown into a viable competitor in the digital content space. The uniqueness in the brand stems from their range of editorial coverage. Readers expect to see an off Broadway play one night and be at Kendrick Lamar’s exclusive album release party the next. Their competitive advantage is the unparalleled level of access their executive team brings to the brand. Years of cultivating relationships with publicists, brand managers, and the like have ensured The Knockturnal’s place on red carpets, at galas, and a look inside a socialite’s calendar. That’s the thing about knock – you don’t know what’s hot yet, but they always seem to.
